We had a family trip to the zoo October 30th and really enjoyed it. The boys always love the zoo, and we have a membership so thought we should use it again. It was great because this time we decided to pay for a camel ride, and the boys had a great time on it!
As for the picture to the left, I have no idea who that girl is in the picture, but she seems to think she belongs! :)
We went for the feeding of the animals. The zoo gives some of the animals pumpkins filled with meat and visitors can watch them rip apart the pumpkin. We ended up watching the komodo dragon attack the pumpkin to get to his fish inside. It was actually a lot of fun. The kids also got to go through the straw maze. It was pretty simple but they had a great time.

My 3 beautiful children on the Komodo dragon at the zoo...and yes it is fake, considering these are highly dangerous creatures! Carolee was 4 1/2 months old in this picture! I love her smile!
Here's the real dragon...it had a sister in the next pen. I didn't know this but they are too dangerous to be kept together.
The straw maze...
Yes, I did post a pic of Caleb's bum...but not for that reason. This is one of those spiderweb rope things at the park area, and this was the first time he climbed to the very middle. He was so proud of himself. It was hard but he did it and had so much fun! He's very coordinated for his age and is doing great!

Even though every time we go to the zoo we see different things...the carousel is always a MUST! They love going on it and thankfully we get tickets to it and stingray bay with our membership! :)
Love going to the zoo. My boys have learned so much about animals there and they really do have such a great time!
