The Kids...

So I have to say a few things about both boys. They both saw the dentist in October/November and did great! I only took pictures on my phone, but it is truly a cool dentist office. It is a shipwrecked on an dinosaur island theme. Seriously a great dentist and my boys loved it! Caleb had one small cavity, but Skyler had none. I have to admit I’m not that great at remembering to brush their teeth, but we’re trying to get better. When I do remember we get it done, but it may not be twice a day every day.

I also love the fact that they explained things to me. Did you know that x-rays are getting more advanced so as long as they go in every 6 months they should be able to catch any small cavities early enough and not need a numbing shot to fill a cavity? Yep, that’s what happened to Caleb and it was so nice. I also found out why they switched from the silver fillings to the white fillings. With the silver they had to drill a huge hole in the tooth to pack it in but with the white they don’t need to do that much at all. That way, it preserves the rest of the tooth making them stronger. Pretty cool huh?

Ok, what else? The boys love their sister and have so much fun with her. They also love all the hair bows I’ve made for Carolee and for my business. Here are a few random pictures of them and all 3 kids over the last few months.

We also had a bunny living in our backyard for a few months from August- October. Our yard hadn't been mowed for a long time and it was a forest! So here's a picture of the bunny that kept my boys occupied for hours watching him and looking for him. Then one day Jon mowed the yard, and we haven't seen him since.

A couple other things: we finally started doing FHE again and the boys have decided that the regular FHE activity is Pictionary on the white board. It is so much fun and they really enjoy using it.

The boys have really started drawing more and more recognizable pictures since we started doing this. Skyler's favorite thing to draw now is a cocoon. :) More to come...
